Mangrove Point and Mangrove Manor Community Development District
The Mangrove Point and Mangrove Manor Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended, and established on September 9, 2021 by the Board of County Commissioners in and for Hillsborough County, Florida, Ordinance No. 21-31 as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.
The Mangrove Point and Mangrove Manor CDD is located entirely within Hillsborough County, Florida, and consists of approximately 113.54 acres of land. The site straddles U.S. Highway 41, and is north of Leisey Road, and south of the Southshore Falls subdivision.

The Mangrove Point and Mangrove Manor Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended, and established on September 9, 2021 by the Board of County Commissioners in and for Hillsborough County, Florida, Ordinance No. 21-31. The Board of Supervisors may further exercise certain additional powers to finance, fund, plan, establish, acquire, construct or reconstruct, enlarge or extend, equip, operate and maintain additional systems and facilities for: (i) parks and facilities for indoor and outdoor recreational, cultural, and educational uses; and (ii) security, including but not limited to, guardhouses, fences, and gates, electronic intrusion-detection systems, and patrol cars, when authorized by applicable governmental agencies; except that the District may not exercise any police power, but may contract with the County for an increased level of such services within the District boundaries.
